The legal committee of the German Bundestag wants to lift its controversial chairman Stephan Brandner (AfD) in the coming week from the office. This was decided by the leaders of all political groups with the exception of the AfD, said the spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group Johannes Fechner. Brandner had last caused outrage with a "Judaslohn" statement.
