This is the best city to live in Mexico, according to new report

A report called Mexico's Most Livable Cities 2019 made a comparison between 76 capitals of the country in 33 aspects, including quality of life.

(CNN) - For the report More Livable Cities in Mexico 2019 - carried out by the Strategic Communication Cabinet, a research company in Mexico -, 30,400 citizens were asked in 76 cities in Mexico - including 16 city halls of the City of Mexico - on “their local authorities, municipal services, quality of life, social cohesion […] people's loyalty regarding the place where they live […] trust in institutions and the perception of economic growth through employment and installation of companies in the cities ”.

In the report, the municipality with the highest score this year was San Pedro Garza García, located in the San Pedro de los Nogales Valley, in the state of Nuevo León. Among the ten with the best indicators in the report are also Colima, Mérida, San Nicolás de los Garza, Saltillo, Mazatlan, Apodaca, Chihuahua, Aguascalientes and Mexicali.

At the end of the list, the five worst qualified are Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Puebla, Victoria, Othón P. Blanco (Chetumal), Tehuacán and Ecatepec, in the last place.

The study methodology has "standardized indicators with international validity - life satisfaction and social cohesion - which allows comparisons with other countries," says the report.
