The Armenian Foreign Ministry condemned the crime in which gunmen assassinated the priest of the Armenian Catholic Church in Qamishli, Priest Hosip Abraham Bidoyan and his father yesterday.
"We strongly condemn the terrorist act that resulted in the killing of the spiritual priest of the Armenian Catholic Church in Qamishli, Hosib Biduyan and his deacon father Ibrahim Biduyan," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The statement called on the international community to strongly condemn all kinds of killings by terrorist organizations in Syria, stressing that Armenia will continue to work and contribute to the stability of the humanitarian situation in Syria.
The priest Biduyan and his father were martyred by unidentified gunmen yesterday as they traveled from the province of Hasaka to Deir Ezzor.
