The General Company for Sanitation in Aleppo, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), has started the project of replacing the sewage network in the main street of Karam Al-Da'da 'in Al-Fardous neighborhood, which was affected by terrorism.
Engineer Mohamed Baha Haj Hussein, director of the General Company for Sanitation in Aleppo, told SANA that the implementation of the network, which is 2100 meters long and with different diameters of polyethylene pipes, is due to the need of the area desperately damaged by the sewage network due to terrorist attacks and to meet the complaints of citizens. High population, pointing out that the estimated cost of the project is 150 million Syrian pounds.
The project's executive director, Eng. Roa'a Kattan, explained that the project includes the rehabilitation of the sewage network in Karam al-Da'da ', Karam Khasim and Al-Firdous, and serves more than 20 streets.
The project's supervisor, UNDP Eng. Mohamed Masri, explained that it aims to replace the damaged sewage network and help people return to their homes in terror-free neighborhoods.
A number of residents expressed their thanks to the work being carried out in the neighborhood, which will alleviate their suffering due to poor drainage in their homes, alleys and main streets, which were witnessing the lack of drainage in the winter season.
