Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has confirmed that Iran has largely managed to control the economic crisis caused by the US embargo.
"Today we stand up to America, thanks to the steadfastness of the Iranian people," Rowhani said at a meeting of the Iranian government today.
Rouhani added that "the opening of these factories and investment in the two governorates is very valuable and we have to endure because the stage now is the stage of unity, cohesion and resilience."
Rouhani said Sunday that the United States had failed in all its attempts to subdue Iran through economic pressure.
