Tehran-Sana

The leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Ali Khamenei, reiterated Iran's principled and firm stance in support of the Palestinian cause and its support for the Palestinian people until their legitimate rights are fully realized.

This came during Khamenei's meeting with the participants in the 33rd International Islamic Unity Conference held in Tehran, including a Syrian delegation headed by Minister of Endowments Dr. Mohammad Abdul Sattar Al-Sayyed.

During the meeting, Khamenei pointed out that the United States is an enemy of all Islamic countries, including Palestine, as well as the peoples of West Asia and North Africa.

Khamenei said: "The Palestinian people, the landowner who decides to choose their state," calling for unity among Islamic countries to face the challenges they face, especially with regard to Palestine, stressing that the week of unity "is a belief and the need for the unity of the Islamic nation."

The specialized committees of the conference begin this afternoon to discuss the agendas, including the institutions of bringing the doctrines, crises and challenges in the Islamic world, the international unions of the children of martyrs and sacrificers, charitable unions and the thinkers' union to discuss the future of the Palestinian cause.

The 33rd International Islamic Unity Conference was launched in Tehran yesterday with the participation of delegations from 93 countries.
