The Excellence and Innovation Commission identified the scientific axes required for the tests of the third stage at the provincial level of the competitions of the Syrian scientific Olympiad for 2019-2020 for the students of first grade secondary students in all governorates.
The Commission noted in a declaration received by SANA today that the axes in the subjects of “mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics” are available on its website and page on the social networking site Facebook.
The third phase tests, scheduled for November 25, include multiple-choice questions about successive scientific problems in order to assess the student's intellectual abilities and the extent to which he studies the proposed solutions, analyzes them and explains their logical and methodological coherence.
The Commission conducted in cooperation with the directorates of education in the provinces on the eleventh of this month tests the second phase of students qualified from the qualifying schools "the first phase" and announced the results on the seventeenth of it.
