DAMASCUS, (SANA) - Prime Minister Eng. Imad Khamis met on Sunday with the Executive Office of Teachers Syndicate

Prime Minister Eng. Imad Khamis's meeting with the Executive Office of the Teachers Syndicate in Syria, headed by Wahid Al-Za'al, focused on the role of the union in building human and human development and immunizing the society from the deviant and extremist ideas produced by the war.

During the meeting, they stressed the need to develop an integrated vision to develop the work of the union and enhance its effective presence at the community level to be an institutional structure in support of the state's plan for development and contribute to the development of the educational process.

The union was tasked to expand the investment structure and physical capabilities in all governorates and review the allowances of leased investments to be at real prices in addition to investing the experiences of retirees through the organization of training courses to develop the skills and expertise of members.

They also discussed the role of the union in providing visions on the development of vocational education, technical institutes, curricula and university textbooks, correcting the work of special education, organizing central workshops and governorates to develop the union organization to be effective in the educational process, in addition to amending the legislation governing the work of the union, reviewing the structure and tasks, and developing a qualitative training plan for those in charge. Their branches.

The members' proposals focused on the necessity of expanding the health insurance umbrella for teachers, addressing the problems related to the union's investments, increasing the nature of work and incentives for teachers, supporting the union fund, contributing to the reconstruction of the union's premises which were destroyed by terrorism, activating the role of the union unit at the educational level, amending the law of organizing universities and addressing the conditions of Ugarit chalets and tourist village in Lattakia And restructuring private education.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Education Imad Al-Azab and Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Dr. Qais Khidr.
