SANA correspondent monitored the demands of the residents in a number of liberated neighborhoods, which focused on the need to provide electricity to all areas and rid them of generators of amperes and high wages.

Abu Jalil Darwish, from Bustan al-Qasr, demanded the delivery of electricity that the neighborhood has been deprived of since the beginning of the crisis.

"The neighborhood has been without electricity for more than three years and there is a constant suffering from the owners of the ampere generators, which are continuously disrupted and their prices are high," said Ratib al-Mousa, from Mashhad neighborhood. The residents' demands were answered by Eng. Mohammed Al-Saleh, General Manager of Aleppo Electricity Company, who explained that “8 rehabilitation centers in Al-Mashhad neighborhood were rehabilitated as part of the company's plan while the capacity of Al-Qasr Bustan Conversion Center was increased from 630 KVA to 1630 KVA to accommodate Population density in the region and the return of people and excessive Astjjar from the center, pointing to the continuation of work to increase the capacity of existing conversion centers and increase the number to serve the people.

In the neighborhoods of the old city of Aleppo, Yousef Abu Abaya Mukhtar called the neighborhoods of Qal'at al-Sharif, al-Safahiyah and Bab Qansrin to provide electricity to the old city, where there are more than 460 families in need of electricity, while Mahmoud Malki and Mervat Masri from Qansrin district to install an electrical transformer to connect the current from the neighborhood.

Speaking about the work carried out in the old neighborhoods of Aleppo, the company manager pointed out that last week saw the development of five switching stations in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Khader and Sheikh Faris. To contribute to the return of commercial activities to it where two conversion centers were put into service and three conversion centers were placed in the axis extending from the generosity of Alddaa towards Qazi Askar and Aqiol district and carpenters cellar.

Al-Saleh confirmed that the company is working according to a plan to deliver electricity to all the liberated neighborhoods and that it started its work from Salahuddin neighborhood and has rehabilitated and installed a number of switching centers, maintenance and extension of medium and low voltage networks. .
