The President of the Republican People's Party (KPI), Kemal Kilicdaroglu, stressed that the policies of the regime's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, pose a danger to all Turks and no one in Turkey has any security for his money and life under these policies.
"Erdogan has eliminated democracy and seeks to get rid of all his opponents through the state apparatus he controlled, the most important of which is the judiciary, which ruled on direct instructions from him," Kilicdaroglu said at his party's parliamentary bloc today. "Corruption has become the main feature of his regime, which is hostile to the most basic human rights standards.
Kilicdaroglu reiterated his criticism of Erdogan's policy towards Syria, noting that many of the repercussions of his policies can only be addressed through dialogue and coordination with the Syrian state.
Events over the past years have shown that Erdogan's regime and government have been involved in supporting and financing terrorist organizations in Syria and other countries, in addition to making Turkey a transit route for tens of thousands of terrorists from different countries to the Syrian territories.
