La Paz-Sana
Supporters of Bolivian President-elect Evo Morales renewed their protests against the coup authorities demanding their departure.
Thousands of supporters of Morales demonstrated in the capital, La Paz, calling for interim president Janine Agnès to resign, AFP reported.
Many of the protesters, mostly indigenous, held up banners in support of Morales, denouncing the crackdown by the security forces of the coup authorities.
Nine pro-Morales protesters were killed and more than 100 others were injured in a crackdown by Bolivian security forces.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet on Saturday condemned the "unnecessary and disproportionate use of force" by Bolivian police and military against protesters against the country's coup government.
