The Educational Technology Department at the Directorate of Education of Sweida seeks to develop teaching aids related to subjects within the classrooms in order to enrich and enrich the modern curricula and communicate the desired ideas to students in a simple and easy way.

In this regard, since the beginning of the current academic year, the Directorate has distributed five new models of teaching aids for the English language for the first grade of primary, including paintings of numbers, colors and weather to 240 schools in the governorate. French for seventh grade to be distributed to 150 schools during the current semester.

The means of the English language material designed and manufactured within the Center for the development of educational aids according to the head of the Department of Educational Technologies Mahfouz Al-Jaghami are to keep pace with the development in the educational process and simplify the delivery of information to students to break the rigidity of the language and give it an interactive character, indicating that these models are distinguished from the old by adding the picture and color palette of recordings The audio is interactive and facilitates the educational process and helps the teacher to clarify ideas.

Al-Jagami told SANA reporter that the design and manufacture of the means was carried out with the participation of the specialist mentors of materials and an integrated team of language teachers, and participated as a first stage in the Damascus International Fair last session, which was well received by the mentors and accordingly was approved for manufacturing.

Amal Abu Turabi, Head of Educational Development and Production Division in the Department, said: “We and our colleagues worked as a team to develop the teaching aids used in schools and we produced a set of teaching aids according to the developed curricula.

The head of the training resources, supervision and follow-up department, Munira Sarayuddin, said that libraries in schools are supervised to classify these means and invested by teachers and follow-up mechanism to use them while the approved trainer Yasmin Harb showed that other models have been designed based on the idea of ​​magnetic cards and waiting to take the necessary approvals For adoption.
