According to the current plan of the operating company, the letters should be covered. First, the editorial network Germany (RND) had reported about it.
The AfD holds its federal party conference from November 30 to December 1 in Braunschweig. Volkswagen's workforce representatives said in August that they did not tolerate an AFD assembly in a hall that would be seen as a "Volkswagen hall". Accordingly, the company supports this attitude and asked the operator of the hall to make the lettering unrecognizable.
AfD party leader Jörg Meuthen told the RND: "I do not believe that the company Volkswagen is doing a favor with this embarrassing and democratically competitive culture mischievous action." Several thousand AfD members and millions of AfD voters would take care of this carefully and the company VW future certainly less weighed, possibly even when buying a new car.
