Clashes in Bogotá at the end of the general strike against Duque

Strong clashes between protesters and the Public Force were reported during mass protests against Iván Duque's government. The national strike was called various sectors and social organizations. Except for some minor disturbances, the day had passed peacefully during the morning, but at the end of the afternoon in Bogotá, there were several moments of violence, especially in the Plaza de Bolívar, and damage to the Transmilenio public transport system was also recorded. Demonstrators' claims also include requests such as more resources for education, the final implementation of peace agreements and the repudiation of the killing of social and indigenous leaders.
