Damascus University today announced the conditions for applying to graduate trade-off for Arab and foreign students in the faculties of “Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Architecture, Informatics and Higher Institute for Regional Planning” for the academic year 2019-2020.
According to the university announcement, a copy of which must be obtained by SANA, the applicant must have a university degree with at least a good grade issued by a recognized university or higher institute in accordance with the rules and regulations in force in the Syrian Arab Republic and qualify for enrollment in the master's degree in the country granting the certificate. The degree is issued by a Syrian university. The grade should not be less than good in Syrian public universities and 75 percent of Syrian private universities and Syrian higher institutes.
The university also stipulated that the student's license should be one of the accepted certificates for enrollment in postgraduate studies “Master degree” in the Faculty of Human Medicine according to the special system of graduate studies in the college in the said degree. Students who hold university degrees other than Syria are not accepted unless their certificates are equivalent in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
The student admitted to the outcome of the trade-off in accordance with the terms of this announcement undertakes to attend the required time within the period required to obtain the graduate certificate and to bring a bank notification of US $ 500 calculated from the value of the fees upon acceptance.
The university has set the date of acceptance of applications for differentiation to the registration center accredited in the Directorate of Systems and Information from tomorrow until the fifth of December next, indicating that the number of students proposed admission to various disciplines in the mentioned colleges 144 students.
