Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said that the countries that create terrorism and extremism cannot attribute the problems caused to Iran, describing the accusations against his country in this regard as "flimsy and worthless."

Mousavi said in a statement today that the countries that manufactured and promoted terrorism and extremism and violated the principle of good neighborliness and interference in the internal affairs of States and destabilized the security of the region by bringing foreign forces can not by attributing the charges to attribute their fabricated problems to Iran.

Moussaoui added that the Saudi aggression against Yemen, the bloodshed of tens of thousands of women and children, the destruction of infrastructure in this country and the resort to colonial practices in an attempt to overthrow the legitimate governments and the introduction of puppet regimes will not be erased from the historical memory of public opinion in the region and the world.

Mousavi called on countries in the region to engage in dialogue and cooperation in order to ensure stability and security and achieve development.
