The Iraqi parliamentary coalition called on the Iraqi government and demonstrators to take a responsible stand to maintain peaceful demonstrations and renounce violence in the southern province of Dhi Qar.
"The province of Dhi Qar is witnessing a disturbing situation. Dozens of people were killed and wounded among the demonstrators during the past two days, which requires a responsible attitude from all concerned," Coalition MP Hamdallah al-Rikabi told SANA in Baghdad.
He stressed the need for the Iraqi government to do its duty towards what is happening and to take full responsibility and stop bloodshed as soon as possible, calling on the demonstrators to maintain peaceful demonstrations and isolate those who are trying to distort their peaceful demonstrations.
Two Iraqi political analysts confirmed Washington's responsibility to try to push Iraq into chaos again after the chaos that followed the US invasion of Iraq in 2003.
Political analyst Muayad al-Ali told SANA that America is moving to create chaos in Iraq and increase tensions. ”.
Al-Ali pointed out that there are Gulf attempts to push the US to ride the wave of demonstrations in Iraq in an attempt to divert the course of peaceful demonstrations to achieve other political goals, especially after the failure of its projects in Iraq.
For his part, warned Iraqi political analyst Hussein al-Kanani of the escalation of tensions in Iraq after the visit of Pence to the base of Assad's eye in Anbar province, pointing out that the government's lack of knowledge of this visit confirms the US side in Iraq.
Kanani said that America underestimated the sovereignty of Iraq and the government to impose its authority on all military bases, noting that US officials request the presence of some Iraqi figures inside the military bases and send private aircraft to come to them.
Kanani warned that America, through secret visits of its officials to Iraq, is trying to raise tensions and exploit the ongoing demonstrations in addition to imposing some conditions on the government and exerting pressure by inciting some components to play this role and ensure Washington's interests in Iraq.
