Today, the University of Hama has put the laboratories of the Technical Institute of Dentistry into service that contains modern equipment that meets the requirements of practical training for students.

The laboratories include the Cat Cam, the latest in dental medicine, to manufacture the commonly used “zircom” as well as the porcelain and manufacturing laboratory that helps in the preparation and manufacture of dental prostheses and supplements.

Minister of Higher Education Dr. Bassam Ibrahim reviewed during his tour the reality of the teaching and training process and the restoration and rehabilitation of the Institute, which cost about 100 million pounds and the building of the Technical Institute of Veterinary Medicine, which includes classrooms, laboratories and animal sheds, which exceeded 50 percent.

The tour also included a student service center, which cost 60 million pounds and the completion rate reached about 75 percent and is scheduled to be put into service early next year and is concerned with the provision of other services for students such as study documents and the completion of postponement transactions and obtaining certificates of graduation and transcripts and other degrees in addition to the Faculty of Engineering Civil and Applied College, which are experiencing expansion projects at a cost of one billion pounds.

The Minister of Higher Education said in a press statement that these projects will bring added value to the higher education system at the University of Hama, especially the building of the Technical Institute of Veterinary Medicine, which has a total floor area of ​​9,000 square meters and will be a complex of several institutes.

He pointed out the importance of the student service center project, which is one window that facilitates the completion of various transactions and the conduct of students' affairs in obtaining any document, whether during their studies or after graduation, pointing out that the service center comes as a continuation of the work of the postponement hall, which was opened recently in order to reduce the burden on students in a review Recruiting people.

In turn, Dr. Amjad Shaker, Director of Engineering Affairs at the university said that the expansion project at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, which has about 750 students, includes a runway, laboratory, training halls and service facilities with an implementation rate exceeding 75 percent and is expected to be completed within three months.

In addition, the Minister of Higher Education attended the fourth central graduation ceremony for students of Hama University in the martyr Nasih Al-Alwani hall, which included paragraphs, performances, art and sports paintings, in addition to honoring the first graduates on colleges and institutes.

Participated in the tour and graduation ceremony, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hazouri, Governor of Hama, Secretary of the Hama branch of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, Mohamed Ashraf Bashouri and Dr. Mohammed Ziad Sultan, President of the University.
