Hezbollah condemned the horrific crime on the Jiyeh highway, killing Hussein Shalhoub and his sister-in-law Sanaa Habib al-Jundi and wounding his daughter as they headed to work to earn a living on the international road between the south and Beirut.

In turn, the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council in Lebanon strongly condemned the crime and said in a statement: "This barbaric attack, which lies behind the popular movement and the demand is an aggression on all Lebanese in their security and stability and a threat to civil peace. Praise his heels. ”
The statement called on the army and security forces to take responsibility to protect the Lebanese and the freedom of movement, security and safety, calling on the competent authorities to expedite the investigation and disclose the circumstances of this terrorist crime and the prosecution of murderers and punish the harshest penalties against them.
