The National Paro Committee convened a new day of national unemployment in Colombia for Wednesday in an attempt to reinforce the protest. Earlier, union representatives had met with President Iván Duque, but the meeting failed. The 13 demands of the unions do not coincide with the economic measures proposed by Duke to solve the crisis.
