GENEVA, (SANA) - Co-Chair of the Constitutional Debate Committee Dr. Ahmed Al-Kuzbari said that no meeting has been held to date

Geneva-Sana

Head of the Constitutional Debate Committee Dr. Ahmad Al-Kuzbari said that there has been no meeting in the mini-committee to discuss the constitution because of the lack of seriousness of the delegation of the Turkish regime, which is afraid to engage in any national debate of interest to the Syrian people.

In a statement to reporters, Al-Kuzbari said: “We have not met yet as you know. Our delegation has made substantive proposals for the resumption of meetings.

Al-Kuzbari explained that all the proposals made by the other delegation confirm their lack of seriousness and more importantly that during the past two days we have been listening to various initiatives through the media and not through the correct channels because they are accustomed to propaganda media without any actions.

He added that the national delegation made many proposals today, the most recent of which was to start discussing the national pillars or to enter the meeting room for all delegations and to start a discussion from each delegation for what it deems appropriate, ie to enter without an agenda and without any precondition.

Al-Kuzbari said it is clear that the Turkish regime's delegation is afraid to engage in any national debate that concerns the Syrian people. They say that they accept to discuss the pillars, but within a constitutional process. This is a precondition and preconditions rejected.
