Lebanese President General Michel Aoun stressed the need to work together to get out of the current crisis in Lebanon in the interest of the Lebanese and contribute to resolving the difficult economic conditions experienced by the country.

Aoun said during his meeting today with Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League Hossam Zaki, "The efforts to achieve an understanding on the new government are continuing, considering that the current situation in Lebanon does not bear conditions and conditions counter and must work together to get out of the current crisis in the interest of all Lebanese."

Aoun expressed his support for the majority of the demands raised by the popular movement, pointing out that he had already submitted laws proposals to implement them, especially those related to combating corruption, activating reforms, preventing waste and lifting immunity for perpetrators and others.

In another meeting, Aoun briefed the UN Special Coordinator in Lebanon Jan Kubic on the latest deliberations during the meeting of the UN Security Council last Monday, which dealt with the developments in the situation in Lebanon and the implementation of resolution 1701. .

Some areas in Lebanon have witnessed sit-ins and demonstrations since the 17th of last month to demand the improvement of the living situation and the fight against corruption and corrupt, including some cut off roads and the closure of a number of schools, banks and institutions.
