The infrastructure works for the two industrial zones in Sheikh Badr and Dreikish were inaugurated today in Tartous governorate.
The Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Hussein Makhlouf, said that more than one billion pounds have been allocated to the industrial and craft areas in Sheikh Badr and Aldrekish, pointing out that these areas aim to create jobs and production contribute to the strengthening of the national economy, pointing to the incentives granted to subscribers, where the value of the first installment was reduced from 30 10% of the value of one divider with the possibility of installment up to twenty installments for ten years instead of ten installments for five years with the amendment of the building control system so that four floors can be erected in one divider which contributes to enhance and increase production lines and maintain Natural agricultural and forestry environment.
In turn, Eng. Hassan Hassan, director of the industrial zones in Tartous, pointed out that the exchanges are ready for investment.
The Director of the Industrial Zone in Sheikh Badr, Eng. Wael Suleiman, stressed that the importance of the industrial zone lies in the consolidation of industries, crafts and professions in one place, which reduces pollution in neighborhoods and residential areas where these professions are distributed.
Eng. Waseem Khalil, director of the industrial zone in Aldrekish, said that the industrialists expressed their readiness to start building the exchanges to work more easily.
A number of industrialists and craftsmen stressed the importance of their presence in one place, pointing to the facilities provided to them to start work, said Yousef Mahmoud, who works in the field of electricity repair, while Emad Shaaban craftsman in the field of tiles and marble Hassan Mahfoud said that the importance of this achievement is to provide a safe workplace for artisans with all the necessary services for their safety.
Some industrialists called for facilitating loan procedures to speed up the work.
