(CNN) - Madonna is following the doctor's orders and has canceled some dates of her concerts.
The singer was scheduled to take her "Madame X Tour" from Saturday to Monday at the Boch Center Theater in Boston in Boston.
But those concerts have been canceled and tickets are already reimbursed, according to a press release posted on the site.
Madonna also expressed her regret through a statement in that statement, which she shared on social networks.

Please forgive this unexpected turn of events. Doing my show every night brings me so much joy and to cancel is a kind of punishment for me but the pain I'm in right now is overwhelming and I must rest and follow doctors orders so i can come back stronger and better and continue the Madame ❌ journey with all of you. #madamextheater

The 61-year-old artist recently posted a photo on Instagram in which she is seen doing her "usual ice bath for multiple injuries."
