DAMASCUS, (SANA) - Two members of the Damascus Fire Brigade put out two fires due to short circuit damage on Thursday evening.

Members of the Damascus Fire Brigade put out two fires caused by a short circuit this evening, causing material damage but no injuries.

A source in the Damascus Police Command told SANA that a fire caused by a short circuit in a "second floor" house in a residential building in Al-Midan neighborhood caused material damage to part of the house.

The source added that a second fire broke out in a sewing shop in Barzeh residences, also caused by a short circuit that caused material damage to the contents of the shop, pointing out that the two fires were put out without injuries.
