On November 12, another city closed for safety reasons early at 2 pm, but people in black broke into the mall and were destroyed that night. Several floors of the Christmas tree were burned by gas bombs and glass in public places was destroyed. Shattered, including next to the escalator, the glass fence on each floor was destroyed.

Due to serious damage, Festival Walk announced on November 13 that it will be temporarily closed for maintenance until further notice. It was pointed out that Festival Walk will be reopened until tomorrow (December 1). The reporter went to Festival Walk to find out that the mall entrance was still enclosed, and the "Early Closing" notice on November 12th was still affixed to the seal. According to security guards, the mall cannot be reopened tomorrow, and the date of reopening is unknown at this time. Liu Weicong, a new district council member and barrister of Yau Yat Village, pointed out on Facebook that he has contacted the Yau Yat City Management Office. The maintenance period is expected to be two months, and the shopping mall could not be reopened on December 1.

The Apple Store at Festival Walk is not open. According to the special opening hours of the official website, it will be closed until December 13. Toys "Anti" Rousei official website said another city store will be temporarily closed until early December.
