Mahalij al-Assi market in Hama governorate 814 tons of cotton ginning to the textile and textile companies in Jableh and Lattakia.
The director of the factory, Eng. Yasser Halabia, said that 4,500 tons of beloved cotton were harvested, resulting in 1,478 tons of cotton and 2363 tons of industrial cotton seeds.
He said that the gin has received since the beginning of marketing operations early last month and to date about 14216 tons, indicating that the process of receiving the crop from farmers is going smoothly and without much difficulty in addition to facilities provided by the General Organization for cotton ginning and marketing.
Halabia said that the production capacity of the gin was increased by working with three shifts with a capacity of 180 tons and an average of 8 working hours for each shift and taking advantage of all seasonal, contract and permanent workers to increase work productivity.
