The General Authority for Tourism and Hotel Training seeks through its training courses in all disciplines to hone the skills of workers and ensure the need for tourism facilities and events and to provide this sector with qualified cadres within the plan of the Ministry of Tourism and its vision to develop this sector.

The Director General of the Tourism and Hotel Training Engineer Faisal Najati Bin told the delegate of Sana that the Authority is working to develop training methods and the introduction of modern means and the implementation of practical visits to students to establishments and tourist centers to inform them about the sections and the nature of work therein Work after increasing the demand for trained manpower and the return of tourism activity to contribute to regional and local development and sustainable.

Najati pointed out that the tourism training and rehabilitation team in the Authority is conducting continuous tours on the centers and private institutes in all governorates, which number up to 26 institutes in order to follow up and evaluate their performance and to see the progress of training and teaching process and audit the documents and records related to it and the opportunity to meet with students and answer their queries raised. Cooperation to implement training programs consistent with the training plan of the Authority.

Najati pointed out that the short training courses in the field of tourism and hotel have been extended to all governorates in cooperation with interested organizations, institutions and bodies as a result of the increasing demand for qualified labor because of its impact on improving the level of work, especially the restaurants and hotels sectors. Hotel tourist technical institutes and hotel vocational schools in grades I, II and III secondary.

In order to develop the skills of workers in the tourism sector who require the nature of their work to prepare economic studies of the projects presented or evaluated, Najati explained that the ministry is conducting training courses in all its directorates on the study of marketing feasibility - technical - financial - economic - social - environmental for any project and how to analyze its specificity and the mechanism of borrowing to In addition to the practical applications of this field as well as training courses in the management of tourism offices and travel and airline tickets.

There are 7 hotel institutes distributed in different governorates with tourism and hotel specialties, 17 hotel secondary schools, 4 of which were discharged due to terrorism in Raqqa, Idlib, Palmyra, Deir Ezzor, 26 special tourist centers distributed in all governorates, in addition to Dummar center for tourism and hotel training.
