Homs Police Sports Club organized this evening a sports event entitled “Hawa Homsi” at Martyr Ghazwan Abu Zeid Sports Hall in Homs City.

The event included many sports and technical items such as gymnastics, zumba, ballet and kickboxing.

In a statement to SANA correspondent, Homs police chief Major General Abdul Hakim Wardeh stressed the importance of this sporting event, which brought together athletes from various games, which indicates that the Syrian sport is fine and shines in all forums, pointing out that this event is a message to all the world that Syria is a land of peace, love and brotherhood.

Brigadier General Mohamed Suleimanou, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the event, said that the Police Club is one of the most important sports clubs that have proved its presence in various types of sports and supports the athletes, considering that the activity of "Homsi Homsi" highlights the new games, especially Zumba and Yucca.

Ballet trainer Sawsan Fahli explained that her participation with her team in the ballet paragraphs during this event confirms the importance of this sophisticated sports art while Zumba coach Karam Al-Akash expressed his happiness with his participation and his team in presenting paragraphs of Zumba this sport, which has become well-received and popular in sports circles.

Golden Heroes Talal Al-Najjar and Boxer Mustafa Hamsho were honored.

Participated in the "Homs Homsi" sports and social events from the provinces of Homs, Hama, Latakia and peaceful.
