Today's parade was originally scheduled to start at 4 pm. From the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower along Salisbury Road, through the Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront Gardens, and then along the coast to the Salisbury Road, parade to the Red Pavilion. However, due to the crowd of participants, the parade started early at 3:15, and some people stepped out of Salisbury Road. The police used pepper spray, pepperball guns, and tear gas to disperse the demonstrators. The parade ended early.
At about 5 pm, there were media clips showing riot police outside Exit K of MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, asking citizens gathered outside the station to leave, and once again raised the black flag. Afterwards, the police rushed into the station to disperse the citizens with pepper spray. Many people evaded. During this period, an elderly woman stepped forward with her hands folded for a while, begging the police to stop using force, and was pushed away by a riot police.
After the woman was pushed away a few steps, she knelt down and folded her hands, but the riot police stepped forward, holding the baton to push the woman to the ground, and then ignored it. After the woman fell, she did not immediately get up, and the citizens and first aiders who were next to her stepped forward to check for treatment.
