(CNN Spanish) - The prosecutor's office in Mexico arrested "several individuals" allegedly involved in the armed attack last November 4 in which several members of the LeBarón family died, in the Municipality of Bavispe, state of Sonora.
According to a statement from the prosecution itself, for the arrest of a presumed implicated days after the attack "and other investigative actions, fundamental information and evidence that has already been being obtained has been obtained."

The prosecution did not detail the number of detainees, but indicated that it was achieved “with the participation of the Mexican Army, the Mexican Navy, the Federal Ministerial Police of the Attorney General's Office, the National Guard and the National Intelligence Center” .
“As is known and, in accordance with the agreements and requests for collaboration managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the FBI, in the company of officials and Agents of the PFM of the FGR, have been participating in the inquiries. The contributions of the FBI will be considered in the ministerial actions in charge of the FGR itself ”, explains the text.
Three women and six children, all of Mormon faith, were shot dead in the mountains on November 4 when alleged drug cartels opened fire on a remote dirt road in the state of Sonora.
