Iran's naval commander, Admiral Hassan Khanzadi, said the presence of foreign troops in the Gulf region is the main reason for the destabilization of the region, describing the West's claims that a "coalition" is needed to ensure the region's security as a "big lie."
"We believe that security in the Gulf stems from itself," Admiral Khanzadi said in an interview with Al-Alam Al-Youm. The region created hostility between its nations and eliminated any chance of rapprochement among them.
