The executive office in Damascus governorate adopted a label form that will be applied to the violating cars that reserve private irregular parking by placing columns, iron chains or tires in front of shops, restaurants or residential houses.

The Director of Traffic and Transportation Engineering in Damascus Governorate, Yasser Bastouni, told SANA that the decal will be placed on the violating car and will be documented with its license plate and place of parking.The photo includes the invitation to the owner of the vehicle to review the directorate to pay the fine for the violating vehicle within a maximum period of one week from the date of notification.

Bastouni pointed out that in case the car owner does not consult the Directorate, tables of the violating cars numbers will be prepared and forwarded to the traffic branch and the transport directorates belonging to them to book them and place a mortgage on them for the benefit of Damascus Governorate.
