The real estate development areas are one of the pioneering projects through which the Aleppo City Council seeks to find a radical solution to the slums areas on the outskirts of the city and provide suitable housing for residents.
Head of Aleppo City Council, Dr. Ma'ad Al-Medelji, said in a meeting with SANA correspondent that the council is working to implement two real estate development areas in al-Haidariya, northeast of Aleppo and Tal al-Zarazir, southwest of the city, which are owned by Aleppo city council, which facilitates implementation. The council is working on issuing an announcement to subscribe to the apartments in these areas and the priority will be subscribed to the residents.
The President of the City Council that the work is initially done on the organization and implementation of the infrastructure of these areas through the construction of roads and served by sewage networks, water, electricity and communications, where urban planning noted the establishment of dispensaries, parks and cultural centers and all the services they need in contrast to areas of irregularities that lack everything.
He pointed out that the area of Haidariya 78 hectares and the main axes that are being worked on and now divided into three equal areas so that each area is ready for overlap and isolated from the other area and is working on real estate that one facilitates the process of completion and implementation of four axes to enter it and the axis has been accomplished. The first is served by sewage and asphalting the street and processing lighting, noting that the Council is working on the implementation of ten housing blocks in the city of Hanano, adjacent to the district of Haidariya each contains 18 apartments and will be ready for subscription by citizens occupying areas of real estate development In the implementation of the second zone, Tel Zarazir, Medelji pointed out that an area of 20 hectares was selected, part of which was selected for the implementation of infrastructure works. Al-Haidariya is coordinating with the engineering company to prepare a planning study.
