(CNN Spanish) - The Secretariat of the Navy-Navy of Mexico investigates the video that shows two men dressed in military clothes dancing mockingly the anthem against gender violence known as “A rapist in your path”, viral in the networks social.
“This institution states that the acts committed by alleged naval personnel are not an institutional position, so the corresponding investigations are being carried out to determine the identity of the alleged naval elements, likewise, the relevant actions will be taken to determine the situation and if so determined, proceed in accordance with the laws and regulations in force, ”reported the Semar through a statement published Thursday.

They also pointed out that "constantly" they train their naval personnel on the importance of maintaining an environment of respect in the areas of labor equality and non-discrimination and that for this reason they "strongly reject this type of facts".
The statement concluded by stating that, if the participation of naval personnel is verified, "it will not tolerate or overlap attitudes that promote violence and discrimination."
This is not the only case of mockery of the “A rapist on your way” movement in Mexico. The football club América reported Thursday that it will begin a training course on “gender perspective, situation of violence against women, masculinities and proper use of social networks” for U-20 and U-17 players later that members of the latter category were recorded dancing and mocking feminist performance.

"We are cooperating and attentive to what the Disciplinary Commission of the Mexican Football Federation decides," according to the statement.
The performance was born in Chile by Las Tesis, a feminist collective that mobilizes against feminicide, impunity for women murderers, disappearance and rape. The representation went around the world: women from cities like Madrid, Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Paris carried out this protest song during the last weeks.
