The Czech (European News) website confirmed that the various discoveries made by scientists and researchers from several countries in the world proved by evidence that Syria has been a long culturally prosperous region since ancient times, pointing out that the Syrian musical traditions, for example, are very deep.
The site indicated in a report today that people in Syria wrote music for thousands of years, which was confirmed by the discovery in 1950 in Ugarit of 29 tablets dating back more than 3400 years. Some of them found the first musical notes in the history of mankind and after twenty years of that it was recognized that The songs on it are dedicated to various social events.
The site pointed to the discovery of other clay tablets at the city of Mary, on which records were found of producers of musical instruments, i.e. records of what artists needed to produce these instruments such as leather, gold and silver, and thus the researchers were able to have a clear perception of the musical instruments that were used in that period.
