(CNN Spanish) - The Public Prosecutor's Office of Bolivia, through the Departmental Prosecutor's Office of La Paz, issued an arrest warrant against former President Evo Morales on Wednesday, according to Government Minister Arturo Murillo on his Twitter account.

The arrest warrant asks Morales to be presented to the Prosecutor's Office of La Paz to respond to the alleged commission of crimes of sedition, terrorism and terrorist financing.

The former president has not spoken so far and CNN is trying to communicate with his representatives to know his reaction.
On previous occasions, Morales has defended his innocence before any accusation, denying having committed crimes during his term.
