The Iranian Foreign Ministry affirmed that Iran's policies are based on good-neighborliness and non-interference in the affairs of the countries of the region.
"We have always pursued this policy with the six member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council and have informed them in many ways that we are ready for a peaceful coexistence with them," the agency said, quoting ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi as saying today.
Moussaoui said, "There are some neighboring countries with us that do not carry this vision and feel that their survival is based on the exclusion of others."
