The defendant, Huang Xinlin, 28, a chef, was charged with murdering Chen Chuntai (65) on the back staircase on the first floor of Yuancheng Centre in Kwun Tong on December 11 this year. And stole 42,000 yuan.
The prosecution revealed that someone had been cautioned to admit that he had been attacked because he was worried about the security guard reporting the alarm. The prosecution requested that the case be postponed, with the autopsy report of the deceased and the on-site forensic tests, and compare the DNA, fingerprints, blood type and shoe print.
