The British House of Commons adopted today the agreement of Prime Minister Boris Johnson to leave his country from the European Union, in the first step to implement his pledge regarding Brexit.
Reuters reported that 358 council members voted in favor of the agreement, compared to 234 against it, as the final stage of ratification will take place after Christmas.
After winning the elections, Johnson pledged to complete the exit from the European Union as soon as possible, while Queen Elizabeth announced yesterday that the main priority of the Prime Minister’s government program is Britain’s exit from the European Union on January 31.
It is scheduled to complete the path of initial approval of the House of Commons after the end of the year holidays, as the government wants to obtain final approval on it on the ninth of January, and after approval by the Queen, it will be up to the European Parliament to ratify it as a last step.
