The Acting Chargé d'Affaires of the Permanent Representative of Syria to the United Nations, Dr. Luay Falouh, stressed during a session of the Security Council the need for all parties to adhere to the outputs of the Astana process, including eliminating terrorist organizations and ending all forms of illegal military presence on Syrian soil.
Fallouh said that the delegation of the Turkish system group in the constitutional debate committee hindered the start of the second round of the committee in violation of the agreed code of conduct.
He pointed out that the national delegation in the committee to discuss the constitution put forward national pillars represented by rejecting terrorism, rejecting any occupation or aggression, and facing the effects of the economic blockade imposed on the Syrian people.
Fallouh pointed out that the United States, Britain, France and the Turkish regime continue to support the terrorist organization Al-Nusra Front in Idlib, cover its supporters and carry out direct aggression on Syrian soil.
Fallouh said that Syria calls to stop using the Security Council as a tool to interfere in the work of the constitutional committee and allow it to operate independently.
