Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the West has used the policy of intimidation of Russia in the past and is still using it today.

This announcement came to Putin against the background of the adoption by the European Parliament on the 19th of September 2019 a resolution "on the importance of European historical awareness of the future of the continent" in which the Soviet Union holds the primary responsibility for the outbreak of World War II.
