According to the Macau Light Rail Co., Ltd. announced today (22nd), a light rail train driven by humans did not stop at the designated location and the door did not open when it was driven from Ocean Station to Jockey Club Station at about 1 pm. In order to be cautious, the train control center decided to instruct the train staff to arrange for about 60 passengers on the train to get off at the stadium station and switch to another train to continue the journey. Train services were slightly affected, and the trains had returned to the depot for further inspection.

The light rail Taipa Line is approximately 9.3 kilometers in length, covering the main residential areas, old urban areas and tourist areas of the Taipa Tai Center, and is connected to the three important sea, land and air ports of Macao. There are also 11 stations including Ocean, Jockey Club, Sports Ground, Pai Kok, Cotai West, Lotus Port, East Asian Games, Cotai East, HKUST, Airport and Taipa Terminal Station. When President Xi Jinping came to Macau to attend the 20th anniversary of the reunification last Wednesday (18th) to Friday (20th), the Macau Light Rail Taipa Line suspended passenger services from 1 pm on Wednesday to Friday, and returned to normal on Saturday.
