Set a workshop for the sifting and trading of flour flour in Lattakia

The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Lattakia seized a workshop in the Jeb Hassan neighborhood of Lattakia, in violation of the possession of the ration flour and its use for other than the intended purpose.

The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Eng. Iyad Jadid, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the workers in the workshop are sifting the subsidized flour into an electric sieve in order to obtain white flour and food bran and trade them for the purpose of material benefit.

He pointed out that 22 minute bags, white flour and bran resulting from the screening process, the electrical sieve, the suturing machine, the electronic balance, have been seized, organizing the necessary control and following the legal procedures against violators.
