Tehran-Sana
Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Shamkhani, announced that Iran will take the fifth step to reduce its obligations under the nuclear agreement if European countries do not fulfill their pledges.
Shamkhani said in a statement today that it was US President Donald Trump who started to back away from the agreement and then Europe practically complemented the US measures by ignoring the fulfillment of their relevant pledges.
He pointed out that Tehran, in order to maintain its obligations in the agreement and achieve a balance in it, began to reduce its obligations through various steps.
On May 8, US President Donald Trump announced his country's withdrawal from the nuclear agreement signed between Iran and the five plus one group in 2015, while the European countries that signed the agreement announced that they adhered to it and fully implemented it.
