(CNN Spanish) - It was the decade of "Despacito". Reggaeton dominates Billboard's list: 8 of the top 10 are of that genre, except for “Indecent Proposal” and Living My Life ”(2013). Nicky Jam appears in three songs of the first 10: "Forgiveness" (2015), post 3; "Until dawn" (2016), position 6; and “Te boté” (2018), a collaboration with Casper Mágico, Nio García, Darell, Ozuna and Bad Bunny, in the 10th place. Colombian J Balvin has the hits “Ginza” (2015) in position 7 and “Mi people ”at 9.

“Despacito” was the big winner of the Latin Grammy 2017.

Zona Pop, the CNN entertainment podcast in Spanish, spoke with Mauricio Rengifo and Andrés Torres, the song's producers, a theme that changed their career.

"Despacito" is also the most watched music video of the decade. With the huge figure of 6,500 million views, the music clip topped the list.

And this is not the first time that "Despacito" has made history on YouTube. In 2018, it became the first video in the world to reach 5,000 million views on the video platform, giving artists a Guinness World Records title.
