The General Company for Metal Industries "Barada" has announced the offering of a number of its properties with a total area of 4506 square meters for investment by the private sector in accordance with the sealed envelope bid or consensual contracts for a period of five years, renewable by mutual agreement.
The general manager of the company, Engineer Mohiuddin Ayoun, stated in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that these properties are lands, buildings and warehouses that are not invested and the company aims to rent them to achieve economic rentals that accrue to the company with the benefit and provide them with financial liquidity that enables them to pay the financial dues resulting from them and finance the production process New in its next plan.
And Taher indicated that these properties are distributed in the provinces of Damascus countryside as warehouses and agricultural lands with an area of about 3000 meters in the area of Hosh Plus and construction in Aleppo area of 400 meters and buildings in Hama of an area of 204 meters and chalets on the beachfront in Al-Hishah area in Tartous with an area of 900 meters.
On the other hand, the commercial director of the company, Ahmed Haj Taher, revealed a number of new products with competitive prices, quality and high specifications, including electric ovens at a price of 180 thousand pounds, while similar products with specifications in the local market amounted to about 250 thousand pounds and the vertical electric fan at a price of 22 thousand pounds while the price of the product Similar to 34 thousand, pointing to the preparation for the launch of automatic washing machines with advanced specifications in addition to its traditional product, which constitutes the distinguishing mark in the manufacture of household appliances from refrigerators with quality and price competitors.
Taher said that the company is preparing to launch an integrated product basket in the home furnishing market during the coming months that includes all the needs of the family, including "a screen gas heater, an electric heater, a meat grinder, a head cooker, an electric heating jug, an electric oven, a fruit mixer and a cooker for a single head laser" indicating that the company's plan includes for the year 2020 Multiple products of refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners and water coolers.
