Not in his favor - the Supreme has joined the Left campaign

The right to choose and be elected is also a fundamental right in a political party. In Israel, most parties have long abandoned the choice of their candidates in free elections.

The only criterion remaining is the personal proximity to the party head. One person who alone decides who to fight or keep away at his whims. The Likud is the only major party, holding pre-election elections and allowing members to express their wishes and assess candidates. This is also why the Likud conferences, held in advance of the pre-election elections, are lively, attracting crowds and expressing impressive political energies.

Gideon Sa'ar, like any other member, is a worthy candidate to run for party leader. As part of his deal, he may seek positive media coverage and become the object of the blue-white hopes and dreams that lead the leftist bloc. And White Blue does indeed wish for a victory by storm, as its Cockfight system would win them over. When Yair Lapid calls on Likud members to vote for Gideon Sa'ar, and when Pike commentators and left-wing pollsters go out of their way to assist him, they don't because they want to see him as prime minister. For them, he is a useful envoy who can help them fulfill their "just-bibby" slogan and pass the Likud to the opposition. In recent days, the Supreme Court, which is not in its favor, has also joined the left campaign. The very decision to hold a hearing on the prime minister's eligibility to serve, and the composition chosen for the debate, are, to say the least, irrespective of the outcome of the hearing in the petition.

Saar's election campaign is based on a violation of the prime minister's status, without any significant value statement. Pathetic to the tears of his embarrassment and of the Knesset members who joined him for hurting them. Paradoxically, in light of their cries, Netanyahu and his family's resilience can only be assessed against a never-ending flood of personal attacks. Sa'ar, who offers a pardon to the prime minister as well as a promise to advance his candidacy for president - using cynical and elusive left-wing arguments - cannot expect party members to cheer him on. Likud members, apart from opportunists who joined the party to promote their personal needs, cannot appreciate and respect those who personally hurt the incumbent leader, who has led Israel to global recognition as a power in many areas.

Israel is currently facing significant and complex challenges, especially with security,

In economics and foreign policy. On such days, Israeli citizens are not allowed to choose inexperienced candidates, whether it is the party elections or the Knesset elections.

I pray and wish for the days when we can make kindly and smiling candidates for the state as in Finland and Iceland. Since we have not yet reached such days, for our future and the future of our children, we have no right to gamble and hope that the candidates will gain experience on the back of the nation's future.

Likud members will go today, happily and in recognition of the importance of their choice, to vote in rainy and cold weather as well, and put ballots in ballot boxes. They will vote out of responsibility for the values of the party and its leadership ability to continue to lead the country to realize its vision, hope and achievements.

I have no doubt that in the post-Netanyahu era, Gideon Sa'ar, and certainly other members, will be running for Likud leadership. Among the ministers, MKs and right-wing supporters have many talents with impressive potential. "All time, and time for any object under the sky," said the wise man, and justice.
