According to the Flightradar24 page of the aviation website, flight CX260 has to be transferred to Kazakhstan.

In the early morning of December 24th (Tuesday), Hong Kong time, Cathay Pacific CX260 returned to Hong Kong from Paris, France. It was reported that a pregnant woman on board had a sudden birth pain, and the passenger plane had to be transferred to the Central Asian country Kazakh.

It is known that at the time of takeoff about 4 hours, the aircraft was flying over Kazakhstan, flying at an altitude of about 31,000 feet. Due to the urgent situation, after the assessment, the pilot decided to transfer to Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan, Nazarbayev International Airport (TSE), so that the pregnant woman could be treated.

There were 255 people on the plane, and all passengers were safe. Cathay Pacific then sent another passenger plane to Kazakhstan to pick up passengers and continue the rest of the journey. The airliner departed from Kazakh in the early hours of December 25th (Wednesday) local time and arrived at Hong Kong International Airport about 6 hours later. The pregnant woman was treated locally and did not return to Hong Kong at random.
