Stormy weather dominated and many Lebanese regions were covered in snow by the storm that hit many Middle Eastern countries.
The Lebanese National News Agency said that the storm, which was called "Lulu", intensified this afternoon, bringing with it more rain and wind and an additional decrease in temperatures.
The hail fell in the capital, Beirut, as it covered its streets, while the strong winds uprooted several trees and collapsed a number of walls in the city of Sidon in the south.
The region of Zgharta and its district in northern Lebanon also witnessed stormy weather, with heavy rains, thunderstorms, and thick fog on the highlands, completely blocking visibility, while the snow covered several areas in Ehden.
